From classic American muscle to exotic Italian street machines, there’s something for everybody to gawk at. Come see machines you, your dad and his dad dream about. We’ll parade them through the festival ground and watch (and listen) as they rev up on the mobile Dyno and compete for Best-In-Show.

Go Wheels Up! Texas has been postponed.
Our joint statement with the AOPA:

Given the rapidly evolving situation around the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) recommendation to avoid large gatherings, and out of an abundance of caution for our members, attendees, vendors, and staff, Go Wheels Up! Texas and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) have decided to indefinitely postpone Go Wheels Up! Texas and the AOPA Fly-In scheduled for May 29 and 30 in San Marcos, Texas.

Go Wheels Up! Texas and AOPA will be working together to consider an alternate date to hold the co-located event either later in 2020 or in 2021.

Unfortunately, with the growing concern over a widespread outbreak, AOPA and Go Wheels Up! Texas believe we all must do our part to contain the virus by limiting travel and interactions to reduce everyone’s risk of exposure and potential strain on the healthcare system.

The first area will be for exotic cars, we are calling this area “The Highway.” Here we will be displaying our exotic vehicles and special vehicles. Lamborghinis, Ferraris, etc along with a few race cars from Circuit of The Americas and anything else we see fit for really what should be the main attraction of the Auto Show. We will have a concert stage in this area and a dyno for anyone that wants to put their cars to the test at our event!

These cars will be nice, clean, high horsepower, pro touring style, rare, or anything else that catches our eye. We are looking for the cars that only get to come out of the garage once or twice a year because they are that nice/rare.

Cory Morrow’s, Go Wheels Up! Texas is a high-energy, family-friendly celebration of aviation, music, automobiles, and Texas! The second year of the now annual event will be held May 29 – 30, 2021 at the San Marcos Regional Airport. Created for spectators from all walks of life, this uplifting and memorable weekend features an air show, auto show, concert and food trucks designed to grow the San Marcos Regional Airport into one of central Texas’ premier event destinations.

We are looking for the cars that only get to come out of the garage once or twice a year because they are that nice/rare.

Go Wheels Up! 2020 Update

Today, May 29, 2020, was to be the kickoff of Go Wheels Up! Texas 2020 featuring the AOPA Fly-In. Regrettably, COVID-19 saw things very differently.

After careful consideration of this ongoing pandemic, and in consultation with the City of San Marcos and our featured sponsor, AOPA, we have decided that moving forward with a fall 2020 event wouldn’t be prudent. We believe our best efforts would be to present a bigger and better Go Wheels Up! Texas May 28-29, 2021.

While we would love nothing more than to bring you an event later this year, the uncertainty of world events makes it unlikely that we could get all the necessary approvals or sponsorships within a workable timeframe. Additionally, while there are wildly opposing views on what the status of the pandemic will be by the fall, we’re choosing to err on the side of caution. The last thing in the world we want to do is create an unsafe environment for our patrons, performers, staff or contractors.

We are, however, much more confident that by late spring 2021 the world will be getting back to some sort of normal, especially with outdoor events. We look forward to bringing you an incredible experience next year.

Your support is our most valued asset. Please check back often and let us hear from you. Tickets for next year’s event will go on-sale soon. If you purchased tickets to Go Wheels Up! Texas 2020 and haven’t yet requested a refund, you may still do so, but your tickets will be honored at next year’s event.
