What Are the Details on Parking?
Parking is free and is first come first serve. There will be attendants directing traffic. Once the parking lot is full, people will be allowed to park along the road and we will have golf carts shuttling attendees back and forth. Please see the map for more details on parking and the festival layout.
What Happens If It Rains?
Go Wheels Up! Is a rain or shine event… to an extent. If it rains too heavily or the weather is just too bad for us to put on the event, we will refund tickets. However, we will make every effort to put on a fantastic event no matter what Mother Nature throws at us.
Are masks required?
Per state and local guidelines, because this is an outdoor event, masks are not required.
Can I bring my dog?
Can I fly my aircraft in?
Absolutely. While we are not a “fly-in” this year, you are welcome to fly your aircraft into KHYI to visit Go Wheels Up.
Can I bring my golf cart?
If you have mobility issues, we will make every effort to accommodate your needs. Please email us at info@gowheelsup.live and let us know you’re coming. We will do our best to make your visit fun and comfortable.
Can I bring my own chairs?

Will there be alcohol served at the event?
Yes. Alcoholic beverages will be served at several bars located throughout the event space. Please drink responsibly.
How do I become a vendor at the event?
Please visit the vendor page and fill out our vendor form.
Are my tickets transferable?
Is Go Wheels Up supporting any charities?
Can I enter my car in the car show?
Yes you can! Please visit the registration page and follow the instructions there.
Can I display my plane at Go Wheels Up?
If you’d like to offer an aircraft for static display, please contact Clayton Corn at clayton@vast.events with what you have in mind.
Can I fly in the airshow?
All of our airshow performers are professional pilots and contracted specifically for this event. If you qualify, please contact Clayton Corn at clayton@vast.events with details. Our show this year is fully scheduled, but there may be space in subsequent years and we’d love to know what you do.
How Much Is It To Enter The Car Show?
The car show is free to enter, and each auto submission comes with a free General Admission ticket. Car show registrants are also given the opportunity to upgrade to the VIP experience for $50.
If I purchase a VIP ticket, can my kids come into the VIP area with me?
Of course! Kids can enter the VIP area with their parents at no additional charge. Kids 5 and under are free, 6-12 require VIP Pass.

B-17 TEXAS RAIDERS
It has been 70 years since the last B-17 lifted into the air during WWII to join the largest air armada ever to fill the skies, but on Friday May 3 the four giant Wright-Cyclone engines of Texas Raiders, a fully restored B-17 Flying Fortress will be roaring over San Marcos, TX. Of the 12,731 B-17s built across during WWII, only 9 are actively flying—including Texas Raiders, which is part of the Commemorative Air Force. One of the last flying examples of the famous aircraft arrives Friday May 3 in San Marcos to participate in the Go Wheels Up Airshow and Festival.
