Go Wheels Up! Texas has been postponed.
Our joint statement with the AOPA:

Given the rapidly evolving situation around the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) recommendation to avoid large gatherings, and out of an abundance of caution for our members, attendees, vendors, and staff, Go Wheels Up! Texas and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) have decided to indefinitely postpone Go Wheels Up! Texas and the AOPA Fly-In scheduled for May 29 and 30 in San Marcos, Texas.

Go Wheels Up! Texas and AOPA will be working together to consider an alternate date to hold the co-located event either later in 2020 or in 2021.

Unfortunately, with the growing concern over a widespread outbreak, AOPA and Go Wheels Up! Texas believe we all must do our part to contain the virus by limiting travel and interactions to reduce everyone’s risk of exposure and potential strain on the healthcare system.

Purchased tickets will be honored on the new date. If you would like a refund, please email tickets@gowheelsup.live.

A Statement from Cory Morrow:

I am so incredibly disappointed that we had to postpone Go Wheels Up! Texas this May. I can’t tell you how much I was looking forward to bringing you an incredible Texas experience.

But we all have to do our part to keep Texas and America healthy. That means protecting those among us who are vulnerable and making sure our healthcare system doesn’t get overwhelmed.

Even though the May date for our event is outside of the current recommended shutdown, the fact is we really don’t know when restrictions will be lifted. Our team determined it was in everyone’s best interest to postpone rather than attempt to stay the course and be forced to postpone even later in the game.

So, we are looking at dates in the fall to bring this back to life. If we can’t find one that works for everybody, we may be looking at 2021, but just know this… When we come back, we are going to be FASTER, LOUDER and MORE FUN than you could ever imagine!

Below is our joint statement with our featured sponsor this year, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. Both our teams are working hard to reschedule.

Until then, know that I love you all and I can’t wait to Go Wheels Up! with you again very soon.

Stay safe and stay healthy,

Cory Morrow
